On the second day of our journey, we set our sights on Syabrubesi as our initial destination. Covering a distance of 112km via the picturesque Tokha road, the journey from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi is a captivating 5to 6-hour drive. The road, characterized by its paved surface and winding paths, offers a scenic route that effortlessly reconnects you with the tranquility of nature.

Upon arrival, you'll find yourself in a charming mountain town adorned with cozy teahouses. Situated near the Tibet border, Syabrubesi serves as a vital point for trade in foods and supplies between Nepal and Tibet, adding an intriguing dimension to your stay in this mountainous enclave.driving time approx 7 hours

Pass by the village of Brimdang and ascend the highest and steepest part of the trail, traversing from one ridge to another. Each ridge offers increasingly stunning views of Ganesh Himal to the west and the Langtang range to the east.

Arriving at the apex, Nagthali Hill (3,210 meters), just 45 minutes from Brimdang, you'll be surrounded by breathtaking panoramas. Behold Langtang Lirung, Kerung, Ganesh Himal, and Shishapangma on the Tibetan side, with the Sanjen Ranges stretching before you. Take a moment to absorb the awe-inspiring views, visit the monastery, and savor the sense of accomplishment. Following an approximately 900-meter descent through dense woodlands, you'll arrive at Thuman, facing the majestic peaks of Shisapangma and Langtang Lirung (about 45 minutes). Immerse yourself in the lifestyles of the Tamang and Sherpa community, visit a local cheese factory to savor Nak cheese (not Yak cheese, as Yak refers to males), and be on the lookout for the renowned German Bakery.
